Joshua Jacob Morrow was born on 8 February 1974, in Juneau, Alaska USA, and is an actor and pop singer, no doubt best known for his role in the series “The Young and the Restless” as the character Nicholas Newman. He also worked on music early in his career, and all of his endeavors have helped put his net worth to where it is today.

Joshua attended Sapulpa High School, and after matriculating went to Moorpark College where he studied communications and theatre. He was considering a career in sports before a talent scout noticed him and offered him modelling work for brands such as Nike. Eventually, he helped form the music group 3Deep along with Eddie Cibrian and CJ Huyer – they released their first album in 1999 entitled “Yes Yes Yes… No No No” which featured their hit single “Into You”. They then released the album “Can’t Get Over You” in 2001, including collaborations with Michie Mee and Howie Dorough. The group would gain success in Canada, Europe, and Asia but were relatively unknown in the US. They became a very successful boy band in Canada before eventually ending their run in late 2001.
Apart from his music career, Morrow became well known for playing Nicholas Newman in “The Young and the Restless”, beginning in 1994, a soap opera based on a fictional town in Wisconsin called Genoa City. The focus was on the Brooks and Foster families, but having consistent changes to the cast of the show, eventually changing the focus to new families such as the Abbots and Williamses, and slowly adding other families. The show has been highly successful, winning numerous Daytime Emmy Awards and becoming top of the Nielsen ratings for 25 years.
For his performance in “The Young and the Restless” Joshua has been nominated five times for a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series. He won the Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Younger Leading Actor in 1996 and then won the Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Hero in 2001. Morrow has also appeared in the television film “My Stepson, My Lover”.
For his personal life, Joshua is married to Tobe Keeney- together since high school – and they have four children. He enjoys sports and often plays softball and basketball. He also mentions that he is a big Star Wars fan and his favorite character in the films is Han Solo played by Harrison Ford. Joshua also does his share of charity work, becoming part of the World Poker Tour to support The V Foundation for Cancer Research.
